Introduction

Tapo S112 supports dual modes, allowing you to integrate various devices. In roller mode, it’s ideal for automating roller shutters. In switch mode, control lights, outlets, and electric floor heating seamlessly without replacing your existing equipment.

• Roller Shutter Control - Use Tapo S112 as a roller shade switch to let the morning sunshine gently wake you up and start your day!

• Control Two Lights Separately - The built-in two smart relays enable separate automation of two devices by using various smart control functions.

• Energy Monitoring - Tracks the energy use of connected devices and allows electricity rate input for bill estimates.

• Matter-Certified -Tapo S112 supports Matter. It is compatible with various platforms, including Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and IFTTT.

• Zero-Crossing Protection - Addresses relay contact welding, extending the lifespan of smart switch modules by over 10 times.

• Remote Control - Instantly turn connected devices on/off from wherever you are through the Tapo app.

• Schedule - Preset a schedule to automatically manage devices.

• Voice Control - Use simple voice commands for hands-free control of connected devices.

• Obstacle Detection - In Roller Mode, the roller shutter will automatically stop if it encounters an obstacle.

• Relay Failure Protection - The failure of the relay can be identified and an alarm will be sent to the user via the Tapo app.

• Small Size - Designed for maximum compatibility, the compact Tapo S112 fits near lights, behind switches, or in wall outlets—even the smallest EU boxes.

• Instant Control via Bluetooth - Bluetooth control works offline - configure via Tapo App without Wi-Fi. Reconnect easily if router fails or password changes, no disassembly needed.

Appearance

System LED: It shows your switch module status. 
Power Button: The switch module has only one button.
Press once: Turn on/off the device. In switch mode, the button can control two lights at the same time.
Press 5 times: Press the button 5 times consecutively to swap work modes.
Press and hold for 5 seconds: Keep the existing settings except Wi-Fi.
Press and hold for 10 seconds:Restore your smart switch module to factory default settings and reenable setup mode.

Set Up Your Switch Module

Follow the steps below to get started with your new switch module

Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code below.

Step 2. Log In
Open the app, and log in with your TP-Link ID. If you don't have an account, create one first.

Step 3. Add Your Switch Module
Tap the + button in the app and search for your model. Follow the app instructions to complete setup.

Safety Information
Before installing, servicing or removing the switch module, read and follow all safety precautions including the following:
• Follow all national and local safety regulations and practices. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable when performing the installation, consult a qualified electrician.
• CAUTION – Risk of Electric Shock – An all-pole disconnect device may be required to de-energize the equipment before servicing. A circuit breaker which disconnects the Line and Neutral conductor simultaneously is suitable. Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker before removing or installing any switch module. Use a non-contact voltage tester to ensure the power is off.
• Do not install the Switch Module with wet hands or when standing on wet or damp surfaces.
• Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity or hot environments.
• Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device. If you need service, please contact us.
• Do not use the device where wireless devices are not allowed.
• Tighten all screws before powering on, including unused screws, with a recommended torque of 0.4N·m.
• For wallbox installations, use the device with a wall switch and box that meet local regulations to ensure adequate wiring space and safe clearance.
• For indoor use only.
• The wire strip length should be between 5.5 and 7.5 mm.
• The max connection capacity of the terminal block is 1.5mm².
• Do not overload the product. Ensure the 10A circuit breaker at the front of the product is functioning properly to prevent overloads.
