Classification of Outdoor Antennas
TP-Link outdoor antennas can be divided into 2 categories, including Outdoor Single-Stream Antenna and Outdoor Two-Stream MIMO Antenna. The following table lists the antenna products of each category:
|
			 Outdoor Single-Stream Antenna |

			 Outdoor Two-Stream MIMO Antenna |

|
			 TL-ANT2414A TL-ANT2409A TL-ANT2424B TL-ANT2412D TL-ANT2415D |

TL-ANT2424MD (dish antenna) TL-ANT5830MD (dish antenna) TL-ANT2415MS (sector antenna) TL-ANT5819MS (sector antenna) TL-ANT2410MO (omni antenna) |

Combinations of Antennas and APs
The following table shows the suitable combinations of the outdoor antennas and AP products:

Note:
It is not recommended to use Outdoor Single-Stream Antennas on SOHO AP/Router for long-distance wireless transmission. The reasons are as follows:
- SOHO AP/Router has smaller transmit power and is not suitable for high-gain antennas.
 - SOHO AP/Router is usually used for wireless coverage within 300 meters and has no Distance Settings feature. If you use SOHO AP/Router for long-distance transmission, ACK timeout cannot be calculated correctly, which will cause communication problem.
