- On-Premises Controllers for Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
No need to send out IT experts for on-site configuration with ZTP, saving manpower and manual on-site configuration time. Apart from the Omada Cloud-Based Controller, Omada on-premises controllers, including the hardware controllers (OC400/OC300/OC200) and the software controller, support ZTP to help you simplify network deployment and cut costs, especially for multi-site networks.
- Site & Device Templates
Omada Controller v5.15 helps streamline multi-site setup and management with Site & Device Templates. Create a site and device template, then bind it to sites. When settings within the template are modified, configurations are automatically synchronized across all bound sites, eliminating repetitive setup and ensuring consistency across multiple deployments.
- Multi-Controller Clusters
Recognizing the growing demands of larger networks, Omada Controller v5.15 ensures network reliability with multiple controller cluster deployment. This update supports multiple controllers deployed in a cluster to act as backups, providing robust stability and flexible scalability. In the event of one controller's accidental failure, a backup controller seamlessly takes over, preventing system interruptions and ensuring business continuity.
- SD-WAN
Simplify site management with SD-WAN by automatically establishing site-to-site VPN tunnels between gateways with one click, eliminating the need for manual VPN or subnet configurations. Seamless multi-site device interconnection for streamlined setup via a controller to improve network reliability and performance.
- More Improvements for MSPs/SIs
Omada Controller v5.15 also delivers a suite of valuable enhancements to streamline administration, including the new Super Admin role for centralized global management, a Temporary User role offering secure, time-limited access, and simplified multi-site management through Cloud Portal bulk invitations.

- Content Filtering
An advanced feature for enhanced digital security. Choose from Family, Work, Education, Public Network, or Custom modes to tailor restrictions—no IT expertise required. Supports role-based and time-based controls, plus URL filtering for precise, personalized access management.
- More Improvements
- NAT Disabling improves IP Phone services and highly concurrent services such as video streaming and databases.
- Prohibit Wi-Fi Sharing prevents users from accessing the internet through hotspots, even when hotspot sharing is enabled.
- VLAN Pool allows clients to be randomly assigned to different VLANs, optimizing network performance.
- IoT (Internet of Things) solutions are compatible with Omada EAP Bluetooth module for applications in healthcare, nursing homes, and more.
