Recommended server specifications for VIGI VMS (above 1.5.14)
Apply to VIGI VMS 1.5.14 and above.
The free version of VIGI VMS can manage up to 256 channels. To ensure optimal performance, server hardware specifications are very important and require sufficient CPU performance and RAM resources.
It is also important to note that with each VIGI VMS upgrade, new features may require additional hardware resources, so it is recommended to leave some room for scalability.
Based on VIGI VMS 1.5.14, the following table provides recommended server specifications for VIGI VMS Server and VIGI VMS PC Client.

Note:
1. Video play via VMS Web and PC client requires decoding and therefor graphics is critical to performance.
2. Only RAM occupied by VIGI VMS server/PC client and its database are included in the recommended, not that occupied by the operating system. It should be noted that the Windows OS might consume more than 4GB of RAM, which should be taken into account.
3. When playing multiple videos at the same time, the network stability should be very demanding.
